about

The preoccupation with photography, being technically and creatively engaged always appealed to me. It has now become possible to make more sense of the world using this medium and it's close study. Seeing and responding to your surroundings is what photography allows you to do; an antidote to alienation, a way of engaging with the world. It is also a form of detachment, which gives you the ability to construct a world with images, one which reflects your personal, subjective vision. Maybe this is why photography is so democratic and accessible to so many.

Photography naturally mirrors my view of the world. Slightly distanced yet interested, it is a test of my own physical and cognitive boundaries. I'm drawn to certain areas; art, documentary and photojournalism, all offer perspectives that become a point of departure. A degree in Photography at the University of Westminster, London provides an arena to explore ideas further. What you see here is a variety of projects, short stories and experiments.
